Why have I been contacted?

It is necessary for us to contact a person in order to confirm their identity and that they are indeed entitled to benefit from the estate on which we have been instructed.

How did you find me?

We utilise many different sources of information to identify beneficiaries, including the indexes of birth, marriage and death, census returns, probate records etc.

How are my personal details protected?

All information we receive from you is treated as strictly confidential. In order for you to receive your inheritance it is necessary for us to forward your details to the deceased’s legally appointed personal representative.

How long will it take to receive my inheritance?

Once we have identified all the beneficiaries, we report back to our client who will contact you in due course.

How are you paid?

When an estate is wound up it is necessary to collect in all the assets and pay off all the liabilities, such as outstanding energy bills, care home fees, funeral expenses, inheritance tax etc.

Who are you working for?

We work only on instruction, usually from UK lawyers, but we may also work for other clients such as overseas lawyers or lay executors and administrators.
